In the spring of 1999, marketer and Gospel singer/songwriter,
Mickey Mixon got his first computer. Mickey quickly adapted to the
computer and the internet. After exploring the internet for a couple
of days he became aware of the fact, at that time, there were no

Gospel songwriters with Gospel singers who were looking for songs.
Suddenly he got an idea and by the summer GospelSongwriter.Com
(GSC) was created, online and serving the Gospel music community.
Mickey has been part of the Southern Gospel music community for
many years and uses his knowledge of and connections within the

opportunities to pitch their songs to the singers.
Mickey has the mailing address as well as email address of hundreds

GSC is not a music publishing company, it simply offers the
opportunity for Gospel singers and songwriters to connect, and has
successfully done so since June 10, 1999.
As a songwriting coach, Mickey also uses GSC to help train Gospel
songwriters. He has provided many educational articles as well as
promoted songwriter events such as seminars, conventions and such
